New Printing Technology: New Printing Technology Allows the Blind to "See" Paintings Through Touch , It's not often that museum visitors are encouraged to put their hands on priceless artwork like the Mona Lisa, but the ongoing exhibition Hoy toca el Prado (Touching the Prado) is a rare exception. On display at the Museo del Prado in Madrid through June 28, the special show features six replicas of famous paintings designed to be touched and appreciated by the blind and visually impaired in order to provide them with a tactile connection to the world of visual art. via
