We never knew cutlery could be bent and twisted to create such magnificent birds and animals. Matt Wilson is the master sculpture behind these beautiful sculpture assemblages. The bird sculptures are cleverly welded onto metal colanders, driftwood, metal rings to show they are not in flight. Owls, spiders, humming birds, parrots all come to life as cutlery sculptures. The interesting fact in his sculptures is the minimal usage of materials. Most of the sculptures are palm sized and don't miss the detailings. The natural curves of the spoons make excellent wings and feathers. The sculptures are available for sale on his website. Grab them before they are gone. Matt Wilson was born and raised in Greenville. He works as a resident sculptor in a shipyard. He makes small models of ships in the shipyard and when he is free he makes these cute animal bird and animal sculptures.
